We took our daughter’s truck to get the transmission fixed. After two times of trying to fix we traded it in to a dealership for less than what we paid BJ. The cherry on the top was the statement “all sales final”. I’m not sure how there is a warranty on a truck that was never fixed. The first time we got it back our daughter took it back to Miami and it wouldn’t go in reverse. The second time we got it back was when o send the video in the photo and the gear jumped and we almost hit the car in front of of us parked at the airport. Yikes.

Short Story: Alex and his team found the problem right away, and now my truck runs better than ever. Long story: I was having issues with my transmission, brought my truck to a transmission shop (not B&J). They diagnosed the problem and said the entire transmission needed to be replaced. I have a warranty, so the warranty covered it. When I got the truck back, the truck pretty much ran exactly the same…after having a transmission swap! I called the warranty company and they told me I can take it back to the same mechanic (he was a nightmare to work with, so I knew I wouldn’t be back) or find a new one. That’s when I found B & J Transmissions. Although a little reluctant to deal with my warranty company (later found out the reason.. I had to argue with them for not wanting to cover the transmission THEY PROVIDED) he dealt with their bs and took care of business. Alex knew exactly what the problem was after a quick test drive. As soon as the transmission arrived, he had it installed and programmed in 1 day. This transmission issue was a huge headache and inconvenience for me, but I’m happy to say my truck runs BETTER than it ever has. Super happy with the quality work. Definitely re

Took my 2021 4runner in because it was shaking at low accelerations between 20-30 mph and Alex was able to pin point the problem quickly from working with other 4runners in the past. Brought it back a couple days later and Alex and his staff were able to fix the issue with great pricing!! On top of that they also replaced my oil filter that i brought in because another shop wasnt able to remove my oil filter without “breaking” it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a shop to get work done!

B and J transmissions is the place to go to. I took my car in for a transmission swap and the price was reasonable with quick turn around time. Alex does a good job communicating what was done and what needs to be done and also.shows you.all parts that were. R.eplaced. I highly recommend them. I will be taking my car in the future for any upcoming repairs.
